BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — OPA! The Saint George Greek Food Festival is on!

Saint George Greek Orthodox Church is hosting a walk-up/take out Greek Food Festival on the first four Saturdays of October (3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th) at 401 Truxtun Avenue, next to the Amtrak Station in downtown Bakersfield. Preorder and pickup options will be available.

Service Hours in two shifts for lunch and dinner takeout: 11 a.m. –2 p.m. & 4 –8 p.m.

Saturday offers complete plates as well as a variety of a-la-carte options, including gyro sandwiches and pastries.
