Kern Medical offering free physicals for KHSD student athletes

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern Medical and the Kern High School District are providing free sports physicals to high school athletes this Saturday.

With this opportunity, Kern Medical hopes to lower the financial hardships some athletes may come across when wanting to participate in sports.

Kern Medical says every year its physicians perform over 1,500 sports physicals.

The free physicals will take place on Saturday May 18th from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Kern Medical’s Columbus Street Clinic. The clinic is located at 1111 Columbus St. Suite 1000 in Bakersfield.
