Kern County was ranked in the bottom five for the healthiest women in California, according to an index released today by The California Budget and Policy Center.
The California Women’s Well-Being Index is an interactive web-based tool that shows how women are doing in terms of health, personal safety, and employment.
Out of all 58 counties, Kings County had the worst ranking. Marin, San Mateo, and Placer Counties were among the top of the list.
