Researchers at the University of Texas claim they have successfully cloned the Zika virus.
This will allow scientists to study the virus and the damage it causes, as well as help in developing a vaccine for Zika.
The virus has caused panic across North and South America.
Some health experts are even calling on this year’s summer Olympics to be moved from Rio de Janeiro to a Zika-free site.
