One high school football player in Missouri hasn't let cerebral palsy keep him off the field, and last week, he was rewarded with a night he won't forget.

PJ Allred is a senior at Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia, Missouri. Despite suffering from cerebral palsy, Allred has played football since eighth grade.

Charles McFail, the coach for Smith-Cotton, told USA Today that Allred has participated in workouts all offseason and is a "full participant" in the program.

On Friday, Allred was rewarded for his hard work. He was named a captain for the week, and led his team out of the tunnel prior to the game.

Then, on the game's final play, Smith-Cotton ran a play for Allred who scored on an 80-yard touchdown run.
