Dot x ott is a new restaurant in downtown Bakersfield that is taking farm-to-table to a whole new level.

The fresh restaurant serves seasonal dishes using fresh and local food. The owners of dot x ott have partnered with local Pickalittle Farms. This is where they get their daily-harvested fruits and vegetables. They like to say; the season dictates what types of fruits and veggies are ripe, so that decides what their menu will feature.

Simply Sweet host, Allison Gargaro, picks fresh strawberries, carrots, beets and lettuce. All of these items are featured on the dot x ott menu.

When Allison goes back to the restaurant, she learns how to make a Caesar salad, the valley eggs and beet hummus!
