BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Michaelangelo’s Wood Fired Pizza is serving up some classic and creative pizza pies around Bakersfield.
Owner Mike always had a love for pizza. His love took him to a pizza school learning from one of the best in the industry. He learned to flip, bake and top with some of the most unique ingredients. Mike took his passion and turned it into a food truck serving the community of Bakersfield.
They make homemade dough, using an Italian and domestic flour, which gives it the perfect crunch. All of the topping come from local vendors and the pies all come together in their 7,000 pound oven! These pizzas cook at 800 degrees for only a few minutes.
Some of the favorites are the Caribbean Spicy, Elote (their take on the classic Mexican street corn) and the garlic chicken.
