BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — For the second straight year, people can get their taxes done and enjoy some free tacos.

Lighthouse Tax and Notary Service is set to hold its annual Taxes for Tacos event Saturday, Feb. 9 from noon until 3 p.m.

Attendees can receive fee estimates and licensed tax preparers will be available to answer any questions. Free tacos will be given out for those who attend.

The event is scheduled to take place at Lighthouse Tax and Notary Service on 3211 Niles St.

Tax filing season gets underway on Monday, Jan. 28, if you have already received your W-2 forms. The deadline for filing tax returns is April 15.
