VCA Animal Hospitals is offering free boarding assistance at hospitals throughout California for pets that have been displaced by wildfires across the state. As of Monday afternoon, more than a dozen fires are burning in California. The Getty Fire in Los Angeles and the Kincade Fire in Sonoma County have already forced thousands of families from their homes.

Due to the extent of the evacuation orders and impacts, boarding availability may be limited at some VCA facilities. Families are strongly encouraged to call ahead and confirm that space is available.
