A Bakersfield City School District aide pleaded no contest to lewd acts with a minor on Wednesday.

Edward Alfred, 25, was arrested on charges of oral copulation, sodomy, false imprisonment with violence and lewd acts in May.

The victim, who was 15 years old at the time of the assault, fled the residence physically injured and police were called.

Gonzalez and the victim knew each other prior to this incident. The victim was not a student at BCSD at the time of the assault but went to a school where Gonzalez worked before.

Gonzalez is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 18, 2018.
