Kern County Sheriff officials are investigating a body found near Edison Highway and South Comanche Drive.

Sheriff officials said farm workers found the body of an adult male in an orange field just after 11 A.M.

Officials said the body has obvious signs of trauma and are investigating the death as a homicide.
