Bakersfield Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash in Northeast Bakersfield.
At about 8:15 p.m., a motorcycle and a car crashed on Panorama Drive.
The male rider of the motorcycle died at the scene. A woman, who was also on the motorcycle, suffered major injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released. It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Those traveling in the area should expect delays as police continue to investigate.
