UPDATE 9:34 a.m: PG&E outage map is now showing 5,295 customers are without power in Central Bakersfield.
According to the PG&E website, 122 customers are currently without power in Southwest Bakersfield.
We don't know at this time if the outage was caused by the strong winds impacting the county, but crews are accessing the cause at the outage location.
Officials said power should be restored by 9 a.m.
