Grab your hairsprayand get ready to rock — Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard and Poison are going on tour together in 2020.

Mötley Crüe last hit stages in 2014-15 for their “Final Tour.” Despite the name and members’ repeated declarations that the tour would be their last, it appears that they’re coming out of retirement to join their brothers in ’80s hair rock fame on this special tour.

In true rock ‘n’ roll fashion, the band literally blew up the previously-signed contract that would prohibit them from ever touring again after their 2014-15 run of shows.

The video is narrated by rapper and actor Machine Gun Kelly, aka Colson Baker, who portrayed Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in “The Dirt,” the 2019 Netflix biopic about the band’s rise to fame.

“They knew that if they were ever to stand on stage together again, that contract would have to be destroyed,” Baker says in the video. “Well, destruction has never been an issue for Mötley Crüe.”

“Vince, Nikki, Mick and Tommy didn’t come together again until 2018 to participate in the marking of ‘The Dirt’ movie, which unexpectedly brought them closer together again, including seeing them head back into the recording studio after going in their own directions for several years,” reads a statement on the band’s web site. “The fuse was lit.”

Check it out in the video entitled “Mötley Crüe Is Back!” posted to the band’s official YouTube channel:

The announcement of their reunion and the joint tour with Def Leppard and Poison came a bit earlier than expected, thanks to a slip-up from The Black Crows manager Mark DiDia during an appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Wrap-Up Show.”

“There’s a Mötley Crüe, Poison, Def Leppard tour coming, there’s a Rage Against the Machine … AC/DC’s coming,” DiDia told Stern. “There’s a lot of rock coming out next year. Rock doesn’t stream, but there’s a thing that’s happening. I think people miss guitars and bass and drums.”

Def Leppard has continued to tour since in the years since their breakthrough in the 1980s, having most recently performed in the U.S. during a residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas in August and September 2019.

Poison last hit stages in summer 2018 during the “Nothin’ But A Good Time” tour with Cheap Trick. In 2017, they toured with Def Leppard.
