Nationally ranked color guard looking for help to get to next competition

ARVIN, Calif. — Arvin High School's Color Guard is awesome. They are currently the best in the state of California and fourth in the United States. Their next competition is April 10-13 in Dayton, OH, The WGI World Championships.

However, the color guard team needs the community's help. They are looking to raise money to help them get to Ohio to compete in April's World Championships. Friday they are host a dinner and a show event at Sunset Gym and Cafeteria. The dinner and show costs $10 per person or just the dinner is $7 or just the show is $5. The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. while the show is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.

The Arvin Color Guard will have special guests Haven Drive Drumline, Arvin HS Drumline, Sunset School Drumline & Color Guard, Rosedale I-Squared Color Guard and Mt. View JV & Varsity Color Guard.

Proceeds from the event will help Arvin High School's Color Guard attend the WGI World Championships.
