BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue crews rescued a 10-year-old girl and her grandfather from the Kern River this afternoon.
According to KCSO, the pair was stuck in the water and managed to hold onto a large rock until rescue crews arrived around noon time.
Crews managed to pull the pair out of the water.
