BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern VITA partnership and the United Way want to help you complete your income tax return. If you earned less than $60,000 last year, you could be eligible to get your tax returns done for free. The duo are hosting a "Financial Awareness Day" at Mercado Latino on Sunday, February 9th. The event will have free tax services, financial literacy workshops, music, info booths and more. It runs from 11am until 5pm. You will need to bring all necessary financial documents including your ID, W2 or 1099 forms and last year's tax return.

It's tax season and if you haven't filed yet we have an event to tell you about! We're here with Annelisa Perez from the United Way to talk about Financial Awareness Day.
