Kern County Sheriff's Department is looking for new patrol deputy recruits

The Kern County Sheriff's Department needs patrol and detention deputies.

In two weeks, the first of nearly a dozen testing opportunities will be made available to prospective applicants. It's the first step in the process of qualifying for the next Sheriff's Academy in September.
