Pastor Angelo Frazier was on the coast with his wife, when he got word of the protests on Friday outside the Bakersfield Police Department. When he returned home Saturday morning, he headed downtown to help in the cleanup. A pastor with Riverlakes Community Church and a chaplain with the BPD for nearly 30 years, he headed back to the epicenter of the protests on Saturday night to get a first hand look at the demonstrations, and to talk with the people who were attending the event. Here are some of his reflections from that night. Frazier is hosting an impromptu prayer at the Liberty Bell on Monday, June 1st at 5pm for all who would like to attend.

Pastor Angelo Frazier is a recognizable figure at most Bakersfield events, and he was present over the weekend, as protestors gathered outside the BPD headquarters downtown. Here are some of his memories from the march.
