BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Are you still looking for something to do on Valentine's Day? The Marriott in downtown Bakersfield has you covered!
They're hosting an event for couples, singles, broken hearts, big hearts and everyone in between.
There will be speed dating, a heavy appetizer selection, a free drink with ticket purchase, desserts, DJ, photo booth, two live comedians and more.
Organizers say the dress code is "dress to impress."
This event is for those who are 21 years and older.
Tickets are available for $40 on Eventbrite and Facebook. Prices go up to $45 at the door.
The event is from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m.
There are room packages available that include chocolate-dipped strawberries, champagne, and breakfast for two.
15% of proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit Pathfinder Society, as well as the Kids in Cleats Campaign.
