BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Zero Prostate Cancer Run/Walk will take place on Sept. 19th, to raise awareness and support prostate cancer patients and survivors.
Leonard Zasoski, the Race Director and a 9-year cancer survivor, joined 23ABC to talk about the often overlooked disease, his mission and how to join the annual event.
If you'd like to register for the event, learn more or donate to the cause, go to zerocancer.run/bakersfield. It's free to signup.
Participants are urged to collect donations for the cause.
