BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood talked with 23ABC Thursday about security measures his team is in charge of.

During his visit, Sheriff Youngblood discussed the president's visit this month and how KCSO prepared with such short notice. Sheriff Youngblood said they only had about a weeks notice before the president's visit, but thanks to Conrgessman Kevin McCarthy's visits to Bakersfield, they felt prepared.

He also discuss the coronavirus and what it would be like for the department if an outbreak were to happen at their jail.
