Sit Down with the Sheriff: New oil well ordinance will provide revenue for law enforcement

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The recently revised oil and gas well ordinance will have a financial impact on numerous county departments including law enforcement. 23ABC spoke to Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood about the change and in the midst of doing more with less. He'll also be hiring nearly a dozen new employees to handle the body cam unit.
