BAKERSFIELD, CA. - A group of juveniles are in custody after an alleged home invasion that led to a pursuit with the Kern County Sheriff's Office.

KCSO says four juveniles and an 18-year-old forced their way into an Oildale home Wednesday night where they assaulted two people and took some property.

KCSO says one of the suspects was armed.

During the home invasion, KCSO says one of the victims pulled a gun on the group, leading them to leave the scene.

Deputies were able to find the vehicle they left in and attempted to pull it over. The vehicle did not stop, leading to a pursuit.

The driver eventually stopped, and all suspects were taken into custody.

KCSO says the group and the victims may have been involved in an ongoing dispute.
