BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Ally Lara, the woman behind the viral 'Find Ally Love' message on The Fox Theater marquee, is finally meeting a potential suitor.

Ally went on her first big date night Thursday, with a man who wishes to remain anonymous.

When we first told you about Ally's quest for romance, local businesses reached out, offering their services to Ally at no charge. Makeup artists, floral shops, restaurants and more.

Thursday night, Ally took advantage of those offers and got her makeup done by Monica Partida, a local makeup artist.

Ally and her mystery man dined at Sonder, another one of the local businesses that offered their services at no cost.

Ally says the odds for a second date are good, as he offered to cook her dinner - something she said she can't turn down.
