It takes a lot of talent and skill to be a professional Indy 500 driver. When they aren't chasing the checkered flag, they are just regular drivers are the road! Jimmy Rhoades found out that professional drivers have a lot of the same pet peeves as the rest of us.

1. Distracted Driving

Stop texting and "pay attention to your mirrors. Look in the mirror, you have three of them." - Helio Castroneves, 3-time Indy 500 winner.

"You see cars on the highway swerving, you think the guy's even drunk. Sure enough you drive by them and they are looking down." - Tony Kanaan, 2013 Indy 500 winner.

2. Yield to Yielding

"Yielding is like a black hole [in the United States]. That's why we can't have roundabouts, it would be gridlock." - Ryan Hunter Reay, 2008 Indy 500 Rookies of the Year.

3. Don't Honk

"Whoever created the [horn] in cars, I don't know why. Race cars don't have one." -Tony Kanaan, 2013 Indy 500 winner.

4. Stay to the Right

"One thing that's annoying to me is that people go slow in the left lane. I cannot handle it."- Carlos Munoz, 2013 Indy 500 Rookie of the Year.

"If you're traveling, stay in the right lane. If you're passing, stay in the left lane and then get back over to the right. Around the rest of the world, they really have it nailed. Here in the States you get on the freeway and people are like 'you know what? I'm just going to sit in the left lane all day.'"- Ryan Hunter Reay, 2008 Indy 500 Rookies of the Year.

"Stay on the right side unless you're going to be passing."- Mario Andretti, 1969 Indy 500 winner.

So if you're thinking of doing any of these things while driving, don't! You never know who's behind you, it might be an Indy 500 champion judging your every move!
