BAKERSFIELD, CA. — The NAACP in Bakersfield is hosting a virtual 'Back to School' preparation seminar on Thursday at 6 p.m.
“We’re going to go over making a work space, no matter what space you have. Essential materials you need, no matter how much money you have. Scheduling, creating routines, and procedures. And things to do during breaks so kids can still be kids," said Zenae Fields, Youth Director for NAACP Bakersfield.
The virtual seminar will be held through Zoom. Parents can register on the NAACP website or by texting 'Back 2 School' to 661-368-5323.
