On Sunday, September 03, 2017 around 12:15 p.m. Bakersfield Police officers responded to a report of an assault with a Samurai style sword.

Officers located an adult male victim suffering from moderate injuries on the intersection of Kern Street and Grace Street.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

The suspect is being described as an adult Hispanic male, 5'5", slim build, black hair, black shirt with black pants, and tattoos on his neck. 

The suspect fled the scene on foot and was seen leaving the area in an older 4 door green sedan.
