At around 3:30 a.m. PST the ABC News Twitter account was hacked by unknown subjects. The tweets were up for about 2 minutes before being deleted. ABC News did not respond until around 7 am PST saying, "The account was hacked earlier this morning. We resolved the issue and errant tweets have been removed."
The tweets used profanity and were often nonsensical at times. Some of the tweets were in support of President Trump and one said that rapper Tyler the Creator died.
The Good Morning America account was also hacked.
