Bakersfield Police are investigating a shooting in East Bakersfield near the Circle K gas station on Fairfax Road.

A male victim was brought to Kern Medical Center suffering minor gun shot injuries. After some questioning, police learned the attack had started at the Circle K and eventually concluded in the middle of Fairfax Road. 

The victim has not yet been identified and police are still searching for suspects. 

Expect traffic delays in the area, as police continue to examine the crime scene.
