The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on Alfred Harrell Access Road and Goodmanville Road. 

It happened just before 5 p.m. after officials said a car smashed into a barricade.

The collision is currently impacting traffic in that area.

It is unknown at this time how many people died in the crash.
