UPDATE: Officials say the 4-year-old girl was found and given back to her mother.
Kern County Sheriff's deputies are actively looking for a 4-year-old girl who went missing in front of her apartment in Wasco on Tuesday.
Andrea Pelayo was last seen playing outside of her apartment in the 800 block of H Street at around 2 p.m.
She's described as being 3 feet tall, 35 lbs, with black shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a purple shirt and dress.
