The Kern County Sheriff's bomb squad was called out to Golden Hills after an alleged explosive device was found in a laundry room in the 21000 block of Golden Hills Boulevard.
After an investigation the explosive device was rendered safe, according to KCSO.
No one was injured during the call-out, and no arrests have been made at this time.
