UPDATE: PG&E is reporting that all power has been restored.

A large power outage spanning from central Bakersfield to Oildale has been reported. 

The outage was first reported just after 12:30 Monday morning. 

PG&E says more than 1,000 customers are affected. The outage spans from Buck Owens Boulevard all the way to Woodrow Avenue in Oildale. 

This outage was possibly caused by a vehicle that hit a fire hydrant near a gas station on Buck Owens Boulevard. 

We have limited details, but we will continue to update you on this story as soon as we get more information. 

No word on when power is expected to be restored.
