ABC News has confirmed from authorities that the Las Vegas shooter has been identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock.

Police say he was on the 32nd floor of a Las Vegas Strip casino when he opened fire on an outdoor country music festival, killing at least 50 people and wounding more than 100.

Update: 12:15 a.m.

Las Vegas police say one suspect is "down" after shooting at Route 91 Harvest Festival. 

According to Las Vegas Hospital, they say at least 2 people are dead and 24 injured after shooting.
