Oildale residents are reporting heavy police presence in the 500 block of El Tejon Ave.

Deputies with the Kern County Sheriff's Department were sent out at about 8 a.m. Friday.

Neighbors are reporting that two people were shot outside the home and a body was on the ground when 23ABC News crews arrived.

The sister who lives in the home said that a father and son were shot by a suspect who ran into a home and barricaded himself inside.

Officials said the only information they have is a 30-year-old white male is held up inside the home.

A KCSO SWAT vehicle arrived at 9:30 a.m. to assist as officials worked to get the barricaded suspect out of the home.
