A dangerous storm is hitting Southern California, which could lead to fallen trees, destroyed power lines, and flash flooding. Here are some tips to stay safe during these scary conditions:

-According to the National Weather Service during strong winds while driving stay away from trees, power lines, and high profile vehicles that could flip over. Also try not to leave your home and keep shelter inside a sturdy building.

-During flooded areas, don't underestimate the power of water. Fast-moving water can move a person and cars of many sizes.

-Do not go near damaged power lines. They may be charged and can be very dangerous. Call 911 depending on the severity or call PG&E.
