BPD is investigating a shooting in central Bakersfield that left one man injured. The call came in around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday night.
The shooting was reported around 32rd and Q Streets. According to witnesses on scene, a Hispanic male was seen leaving the area after the shooting.
Police say they don't have a clear description of the suspect because of conflicting witness reports. They believe the man is a Hispanic male that weighs approximately 150 pounds and stands about 5'10". One witness said he was wearing a White Sox baseball cap.
The victim was taken to the hospital, his condition is unknown. Police haven't released a motive.
