SAN DIEGO - Two San Diego police officers have been shot in a Southcrest neighborhood, according to the San Diego Police Department. One has now been pronounced dead and the other is out of surgery and is expected to survive.

One suspect was taken into custody, but police are still searching for other possible suspects in the 3800 block of Boston Avenue and have issued a shelter-in-place for residents in the area.
