Congrats to Grads: Amariun Tyiska, Golden Valley High School

Congratulations to graduate Amariun Tyiska! He is graduating from Golden Valley High School as part of the Class of 2020.

Congratulations Amariun! Amariun has been involved in several extra-curricular activities and has maintained excellent grades throughout his education. Amariun Singh Tyiska felt a spark when he became involved in Leaders in Life starting in the sixth grade which set the pace for his future to serve as a strong activist for his fellow students and community. Amariun has been deeply involved in S.W.A.T. (Students Working Against Tobacco), Kern County Superintendent of Schools, the Leaders in Life Conferences which combat anti-bullying along with several issues that students are facing, and he has made several trips to Sacramento which he worked closely with legislation to bring positive changes to Kern County.
On top of the busy schedule he has maintained, Amariun also was a leader in Golden Valley's Mock Trial which led him to be named as one of the top two students to the Honor Court.
Amariun is a dedicated young man that takes pride in his commitment as a student, friend, leader and strives at his commitment to our community.
Amariun has been accepted to the University of Azusa, University of San Francisco, Bakersfield College and Cal-State Bakersfield. He would like to pursue his education to achieve a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and further pursue higher education.
His family could not be more proud of his achievements and dedication to himself, school, values, and his family. He is a great role model and his entire family is extremely impressed by his accomplishments and work ethic! Everyone congratulates Amariun and wishes him much success, love, and happiness for his future ahead! Congratulations Amariun! Keep thriving! You deserve greatness in your future ahead! Your family wants you to know they love you very much!
