A significant drop in the number of new COVID cases with just over 100 reported. Public health announced an additional 106 cases of the virus for a total of 20,651 cases here in Kern County. No new deaths were reported.
The total number remains at 144. More than 5,700 people have recovered from the virus and nearly 14,500 are isolating at home.
Local officials are also now reporting more than 109,000 people have tested negative or 83-percent of all tests.
