BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Kern County Public Health announced that appointments for this week at the mass vaccination site are filled, located at the Kern County Fairgrounds.

Public health said it will announce later when appointments for next week's vaccination clinic will be open.

The site was scheduled to officially open to the public on Wednesday, offering vaccinations by appointment from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through Saturday.

The site will begin services gradually and will ramp up based upon vaccine allotment from the state.
