BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — In a statement form the Bakersfield City School District on Thursday, it was announced they would continue their meal distribution service unitl further notice.

On Thursday evening Go. Newsom announced a statewide stay home order restricting nonessential services to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Any child ages 2 to 18 can receive a meal at designated school locations Monday through Friday until further notice.
