BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The City of Bakersfield Recreation & Parks Department announced Friday it will close all tennis and pickleball courts in an effort to reduce public gatherings during the COVID-19 health crisis.

The basketball court at Jefferson Park will also be closed to the public.

These closures will remain in place until further notice. There will be signage posted at all closed locations.

The City of Bakersfield Government parks remain open to the public, but ask if you visit, continue to follow social distancing guidelines and avoid group gatherings.
