SACRAMENTO — In Governor Gavin Newsom's press conference on Wednesday, he said that teams from across different state agencies would target businesses that do not follow the guidelines.
Those teams include members from the California Highway Patrol, Alcohol Beverage Control, and other agencies. An official said the agencies will be especially focusing on repeat violators.
The governor has also tweeted about some safety tips for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday. In the tweet the governor's office reminded Californians to wear their masks and wash their hands.
The tweet ends with a reminder to keep social distancing during the holiday.
