Health officials confirm 33 people in Kern County have recovered from COVID-19

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Public Health Department confirmed Monday that 33 people in Kern County who tested positive for COVID-19 are no longer infectious and are no longer in isolation.

As of 10 a.m. on April 7, there are 247 residents who tested positive for COVID-19 and 6 nonresidents who tested positve.

Of those numbers, the age group with the highest COVID-19 positive patients are ages 18-49.
