BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Public Health Department has released age ranges for the positive coronavirus cases in Kern County.

According to public health (As of April 1, at 10 a.m.)
Age 0-17: 2
Age 18-49: 51
Age 50-64: 33
Age 65+: 21

These numbers only refer to Kern County residents who tested positive.

Of those residents. 21 are from the Valley, 57 are from Bakersfield West, 22 are from Bakersfield East, two are from the mountain areas, and five are from the desert.
