BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — With the dismissal of schools and stay at home order amid the coronavirus outbreak, parents might be at a loss for how to keep their kids busy.

Although some schools have supplied independent study packets for students during this time, there are a few other resources at parents disposal:

  • The Kern County Library offering online activities: The Kern Library is putting most of their events online.
  • The Civic Dance Center are posting classes for students and non-students on Facebook Facebook and Youtube.
  • Dance Nation is having real-time online classes for their students on Instagram.
  • Find educational activities and games for your kids online with Kahoot.
