MCFARLAND, Calif. — The McFarland Police Department posted on their Facebook page that playgrounds and workout machines are closed until further notice. They said that the equipment is not sanitized everyday. The parks themselves WILL remain open.

An official with the McFarland Recreation and Parks District told 23ABC that spaces where people can gather have been closed. This includes spaces like soccer fields, basketball courts, playground areas and workout equipment. Officials ask that residents remain diligent about social distancing.
