People under 40 now making up the majority of coronavirus cases. A USA Today analysis found this through data from 17 states.

The data show that more new cases are among younger people. Infections among people who are 50 and older have gone down. And while younger people are getting infected at a higher date there is a higher death among older patients.

This leads researchers to believe young people are spreading the disease and putting the elderly at risk.
